10. You will be asked to take a tour of Teams after the first login. This will show you the basic layout of Teams, and is encouraged if you’re not familiar with the platform. In the bottom left corner, you will also be given an option to download the Desktop Application. The Desktop Application may have more features for power users but is not necessary for most functions.

That’s It, You are up and running! You can continue to use TEAMS in your web browser. You can OPTIONALLY install the full-desktop application - it does have more advanced features, and power users may prefer it, but it not required, and is not necessary for ALL users.

11. If you decide to install the Desktop Application later, you can go download it from this link.

**NOTE: You must use the Teams for Work or School application, or it WILL NOT WORK. If you have a pre-installed Teams application and you are unable to login, you likely have the Teams for home or small business application. This accounts for a large number of login issues.

12. You will also receive a prompt to download mobile apps after initial login.

13. If you decide to install the mobile application later, you may go to the App Store or Google Play to download app.
